Understanding the broader health picture
从整体情况理解健康
These concerns are commonly encountered in Singapore. Dedicated consultation sessions allow additional focus on the patient’s medical history, recent reports, current treatment and broader health picture, with care considered according to individual needs.
Changes in kidney function are often first noticed through blood test results such as eGFR and creatinine. If these readings have been changing over time, or you have been advised that your kidney function has declined, the consultation can consider them together with your current health, medications and medical history.
Dedicated consultation sessions are led by Senior Consultant Physician Ng Cheong Kim, with support from the II-WAY clinical team.
Recent blood test results provide useful clinical context, but they do not determine treatment on their own. During consultation, the physician considers the broader clinical picture and how the concern is presenting in the individual before recommending care.
这些健康问题在新加坡较为常见。专门咨询时段让医师能更集中地了解患者的病史、近期检查报告、目前治疗情况及整体健康状况，并根据个别需要作出诊疗判断。
肾功能的变化，往往会先从验血结果中发现，例如 eGFR 下降或肌酐偏高。若相关指标持续变化，或您曾被告知肾功能有所下降，咨询时可结合近期报告、目前用药及整体健康状况一并了解。

近期验血结果可提供重要的临床资料，但不会单独决定治疗方向。医师仍会结合整体情况，了解问题在患者身上的实际表现，再提出相应的诊疗建议。

- Latest eGFR
- Latest creatinine
- Current medication
- Current kidney-related medical follow-up, including dialysis status where relevant
- Other existing diagnoses or relevant medical history

Key figures may be shared when making the appointment or enquiry. Please bring the latest blood reports and relevant medical documents to the consultation if available.
If you do not have recent reports, there is no need to arrange tests specially before contacting the clinic. The consultation can proceed based on the clinical assessment and information available, unless the physician advises otherwise.
相关数值可在预约或询问时提供。如手上已有最新验血报告及相关医疗资料，建议看诊当天一并携带。
如没有近期报告，无需为预约看诊特地安排检查。医师会根据问诊、诊察及现有资料作出判断；如有其他需要，会再另行说明。
Existing medical care
Patients should continue existing medical follow-up and prescribed medication unless advised otherwise by their treating medical practitioner.
患者应继续原有的医疗跟进及处方药物，除非其原主诊医疗人员另有建议。
